Unique glimpse inside the temple

Siddheshwar Swami can be seen as soon as one enters the temple premises. Here Lord Shiva is depicted not in the usual Shivalinga form, but as giving Pashupatastra to Arjuna. Apart from this, a statue of Ravana playing a ten-headed veena can also be seen here, which surprises the devotees.

the lamp never goes out

On the day of Diwali, two sacks of rice, water and a ghee lamp are kept inside the temple. This lamp is called Nanda Deepam. The temple is decorated with flowers and then closed. When the temple reopens after a year, the rice is cooked and hot. It is said that it does not spoil. The ghee kept in Nanda Deepam also keeps burning throughout the year. This mystery makes this temple special.

Story of Hasanamba Temple

Hasanamba means the mother who smiles and bestows blessings on her devotees. According to a folk tale, the goddess turned an unhappy daughter-in-law into stone to protect her.
